Very true..it's user specific which charger works best.

Some people have access to power the majority of their time, so using the 70W charger is of little benefit.

Others have more sporadic charging times..so using the 70W charger for quick "top ups" works best for them.

Though it'd be nice if the 70W charger had 2 ports to charge 2 devices simultaneously!

I was thinking of getting a 70w for my M2 15” as I also thought the charging was alittle slow for me but i changed my mind and only want to use the 35W apple charger to maintain the battery health as long as possible. The hotter the laptop the more the battery degrades.

My 2020 M1 air was hot at times during the first 1-2 year as i had a lot of things running and I was charging at the same time - i think the heat affected the battery as it's 85% health right now after 3 years.

Probably the 70w wont affect it too much but id rather prolong the battery health as much as possible this time. I'll try to plan recharging over night or I'll just use my ipad whilst its charging and doing nothing else. Maybe alittle OTT but i want to take care as much as possible.
