I saw a post that said it seemed like that no one in california was able to see when their order was going to be delivered via tracking by reference on UPS.

I ordered a 42mm white sport, and am still in "preparing for shipment"

I am also in California/ Bay Area and I'm still at processing shipment

Nor Cal here and same thing, still Preparing to Ship. I suspect ours are on the way to a local hub close to California and when they arrive we will see our tracking numbers issued.

I ordered a 38mm white sport and had my status change to prepared for shipment yesterday. No UPS tracking number yet. I'm also in the SF Bay Area.

I did order two charging cables yesterday, they were just charged just a few hours ago and I received a FedEx tracking notification about an hour ago. There's no info on it yet, so I don't know where it's originating from. In the last few years, my Apple Store orders during launch times have come from UPS.

Does anyone know if it will arrive by Fedex or UPS for CA in particular?

What kind of watch did you order? Are you a my choice member?

Yes, choice member, else I would never have gotten the email. I ordered the 38mm silver sport w/white band.

There is another thread for CA tracking information, so perhaps we can merge these two.

My feeling is that those who can't track (yet) via UPS are probably getting their watch shipped FedEx.

I'm in OC, ordered a 42mm Sport with a blue band at 12:05 on the 10th and my status has been "Preparing for Shipment" since yesterday but I cannot track anything on UPS or FedEx... I do have an extra charging cable that I ordered about a day later which is currently set to be delivered tomorrow via OnTrac - any chance they could also be delivering watches?

All this OnTrac talk has me wondering if that's how Apple intends to get it to us. They do offer overnight shipping and signature required. I can also have t held at my OnTrac hub for pickup at 7 am! :D

Ha? Let me try.

Nah bruh! Didn't work for me.

I ordered a 42 SS with classic buckle. I live in Northern California. Card charged and preparing to ship. No tracking info. I strongly suspect these are coming from Rialto. I had the same experience with the 6+. Tracking finally showed up late Wednesday night for Friday delivery. We will see.

That would be awesome. I wonder if Rialto falls in the San Bernardino hub's jurisdiction or Ontario's. I hope it's Ontario so mine doesn't have to hop facilities.

Or do you think it would go straight to LAX?

FYI, my iPod shuffle was shipped from Rialto via OnTrac and so was my 6 Plus case. They might use OnTrac for deliveries close to the facility or for in-state deliveries.

So I just looked back at my 6+. They still had the tracking info. It actually came through Louisville, KY. I have a charger coming via FedEx from Rialto. So, could be either I guess.

Just got my tracking number! Shipping from Rialto and delivers on the 24th.:D

Was it emailed or did you do track by reference?

Two minutes makes all the difference. I too now have a tracking number. Rialto -> Altadena!

Just found mine by track by reference. It looks like the western half of the U.S is updating tonight from Rialto CA to Boulder CO.
