Carrier Any carrier allow you to pay off a device early or somewhat early?

I know trade in deals are usually spread over 24.or 30.months but are.there any carriers that allow for early payoff?

Okay. Do any of the carriers allow you to put a down-payment on a device at the time of purchase.

T-Mobile once let me pay off a device but I got to keep the credits. They went towards my bill. Unfortunately I had to leave them since I got no service here or where I'm planning to move to.

March I think. I'm still getting the credit on a tablet line I kept with them. I'm using up the credits by keeping that line active.

No. I've read that sometimes you can continue the credits as long as you continue with the line. Which surprised some people with the ATT special which stopped it if you paid it off. Which would be an inconvenience if you wanted to unlock the phone (either for international travel, or you wanted to sell it to someone for use on another carrier).
