Agreed.

Enigmo, Super Monkey Ball, Texas Hold'em in portrait, Spore, will always rofl battery life.

I only mentioned the first one cause for some reason in my WIP application it won't dismiss the view completely...

lol...I don't exactly use those apps at the hospital...I'm talking about epocrates and a medical calculator. Rated around zero on the graphical intensity scale.

lol, seriously I'll be shocked if it comes out before noon tomorrow.

It is 5.20am here and still no update :(. I have got to go to work soon so i will have to wait till afterwards.

The impatience here is because many of us have been expecting the big bugs to be fixed for some time now. I keep hearing how smooth the old 1.1 software ran but I've never experienced it, yet a buttery smooth UI is one of the main reasons I got this phone.

Plus there's still the faint hope that they will slip in some new features. I doubt it, but the rumors were out there before the Let's Rock event, and we can still hope.

9:13am EST: I'm downloading 2.1 right now in NY- 237.8MB. They actually list the update features which are mostly bug related. I should've taken a screenshot. The non bug related listed features are repeated alerts for text messages and genius playlist.
Backing up phone now and will report back with what I find.

I know, I should be happy with stability, but that would have been nice right out of the box on 7/11. Since then my company has paid for exchange hosting, unlimited voice, texting, etc with unreliability. I hope the bugs are worked out. I will admit that I'm a little disappointed that there are no goodies that I've discovered yet (no cut/paste, MMS, landscape typing in email). Please post if you find anything interesting.

In the meantime, let's hope I can finally stop dropping service completely on a daily basis.
