Looking at getting one of those that run off USB only. Had ordered a Toshiba, only to find later that it has issues with Lion and/or Macbook Airs.
Now undecided between a Seagate GoFlex, and a WD.
Any advantages of the GoFlex system of interchangeable cables? I see the prices for a USB 3 cable are pretty high. I have no use for USB 3, but might like a Thunderbolt cable if they ever made one to fit their drives. Any idea whether Seagate might come up with one?
I already use a GoFlex Home network attached HDD, so woud it make more sense to go for the Seagate? The Seagate is slightly larger and heavier than the WD, but not so significant I think.
These are the drives I am looking at.
