Any clues how to stop "PreferenceSyncClient quit unexpectedly' message ?" from showing up every hour?
 
Are you signed into the now-defunct .Mac/MobileMe service in System Preferences or do you use Growl? There are a number of threads on MacRumors and through Google that seem to point the finger at one or both of these. Have you tried signing out of .Mac/MobileMe or removing Growl?
