Any current solution to download streaming video - either manually or thru extension?

This question has been asked. Unfortunately, the solution from a few years ago no longer works.

I am mainly interested in downloading Youtube video but could be any other sites.

Prefer a Safari solution but open to download other browser if it works better.

Currently on offer on https://bundlehunt.com/
A free solution https://ytdl-org.github.io/youtube-dl/download.html
It can be easily made into a service with Automator.

Thank you. That free solution I will have to look into it.

Youtube now chops up the video into mutlple 15 sec clips. So while I found a way to download using firefox, it's not worth it.

Maybe I will try Vimeo for a change.
