I saw in 2020 a report that detailed iphone sales by type is there anything for the iphone 13? If so appreciate any leads, thanks!

Since only top ten listed, the 13 Pro might be at #11 or #12, but otherwise, seems to trend similar to 12s. Example, the non-Max Pros are a fair amount lower in sales than the Max (in USA especially).

Plus, as the article states, 12 numbers are a little bit skewed in the original link.

Besides, the delayed launch of the iPhone 12 series shifted some holiday season demand to the initial months of 2021.

I don't know if this is the data you're looking for, but I saw a post on reddit recently where an employee of a store shared details about the model distribution of their iPhone sales.

It might be tough to draw conclusions about Apple's overall sales since this is data that only includes retail stores and not online sales, but according to the source, they were able to run the analysis for a total of 50.000 sales. The model distribution was as follows:

ModelSales Distribution
iPhone SE0.2%
iPhone 13 Mini17%
iPhone 1343%
iPhone 13 Pro13,8%
iPhone 13 Pro Max26%

Important to point out that this data is from a wireless carrier retail store and their other locations, not Apple store. So, this might be affected by trade-in deals by the carrier. Pro and Pro Max will cost more at the carrier after trade-in, which explains their low sales volume in carrier retail store.

It's shocking to see the pro with the lowest sales of the 13 line. Really curious to see how the 14 max plays out.

As a new owner of the 13 standard, I'm not surprised to see it at 43%. It seems to be the perfect balance of function and size.

It shouldn’t shock anybody if the regular iPhone 13 sells better than the 13 Pro/13 Pro Max. It’s more affordable and is a good enough phone for a lot of people. I’m due an upgrade this year and will likely go for the regular iPhone 14 as the 12 I have had has been fine, apart from the poor battery. I don’t personally see the point in going for the Pro when the regular devices are good enough and cheaper but maybe I am less of an enthusiast than some here.

agree its just a larger mini essentially.. has that nice light weight.. not sure if its noticeable over the 13 pro?

Add: if anyone missed this on the front-page today (not just about Mini numbers):
