I am thinking not as disks have gone the way of Intel on Apple lol, but if there is let me know! Thanks
 
There's no "e" on Apple Silicon, as silicone is silicon based polymer.

I'm curious if authoring was in regards to video or data as cdrtools will handle creation of data DVD's and perhaps data Blu-ray.

Creating DVDs, and blurays to be viewed on a dvd player or bluray player.
 
I thought Toast Pro does this. You may want to check their site as they may sell it directly there.
 
sadly this is where PC's excel over Mac on the authoring software. I guess toast would be your best bet if that is still up to date.

Mac selection is very limited.
