TMobile e sim
Doesn't let you pre-approval for iPhone upgrade. Anyone have success with e sim with other carriers?

I sincerely hope it is not an eSIM issue, though I’m afraid it is with T-Mobile since it was not “official” yet.

Hopefully it’ll get resolved soon!

I had the esim issue. Had to use my wife’s phone with the regular sim. Both on T-Mobile
 
Oh okay. I wonder if apple can just give me a Sim.
I know our local TMobile stores have always been really good at giving us a sim for Free, for sure worth a try. At the end of the day you have this issue because of TMobile and as a paying customer they should look to get you sorted. I just moved over to the eSim a week ago and see that its way buggy versus the physical Sim.

I haven't noticed any difference. Minus this physical Sim issue
 
3 iPhones XS Max’s with T-Mobile eSIM. All pre-approved yesterday through Apple app, no issues.

Did you keep your Sim in the phone? Maybe that's why. Mine does not work.

Tmobile gave me a credit to get sims. Next time I won't throw them out.

I don’t have a physical SIM in my phone at all. I’ve had T-Mobile eSIM since December 2018.

Hmmm. Not sure what problem with a lot of us. I always have to input phone number and last 4 SSN. And I get same error try again later. It should be instant.

I also had to do that to verify my account but you’re correct, it was instant in all three of my phones. I’m sure it’s a glitch. Good luck!

Probably a glitch with how the e sim was set up on some phone. I think physical Sim users have all been able to get pre approval no problem.
