I am just about to buy a copy of Coda but have a few questions which I can't seem seem to find any answers to on the net.

It's a wicked program and I I've pretty much sussed most of it but just have a few niggling little questions, so here goes...

1. Wrap Lines - Can I turn off line wrap but default (so I don't have to set it for each new page I open)

2. Line Numbers - Again can I turn these on by default

3. File Browser - Can I display the browser to the right (instead of the left)

4. Autocomplete - On TextMate you can type something and hit 'tab' and it will finish of the line of code (i.e. if I type 'img' then hit tab it will display '<img src="#" alt="name' title="name">'). Can this be imported ..?

5. CSS Space - I know this is getting quite picky now but in CSS when I have written a keyword then type ' : ' it will create a space then I type an attribute and my preference is not to have a space (i.e. Coda default 'color: #666;' and mine is 'color:#666;') so as a result I am always hitting backspace to keep my CSS visually clean - Can this be changed at all ..?

I appreciate help in any of the questions and look forward to hearing back from you.

Many thanks - Jack

1. see preferences
2. see preferences
3. It looks like this is fixed.
4. see "clips" at the bottom of the window(but I think you'll have to respecify all your shortcuts)
5. Doesn't look like it.

Ahh, I feel so stupid now - I did look at the preferences but must have missed those! Thanks for the reply that is really helpful!

Also - How do you install plugins for Coda, again I can't seem to find any info on it ..?

Thanks again - J

Its been awhile since last I checked, there weren't really any plugins that were useful to me, but I'm pretty sure you just download the plugin file and open it... should then install itself.

Autocomple

Hello there,

Any autocomplete option for variables and function in php.

Thanks

Glad to see you're moving to Coda. It's a great program. Not a lot of overhead (compared to Dreamweaver). I have been so much happier since I found it.

I'm between Textmate and Coda. Coda is nice because it has built in ftp but then I mount my websites as drive shares so not really required.
