I have a 3rd generation apple wireless keyboard. Most of the keys work fine but keys "w","s", and "x" all stick or are unresponsive.

Its weird because w, s, and x all line up in a row vertically. This was a 2nd hand keyboard I got with a mac mini, so its out of warranty, just curious if these things can be fixed at all or if tis right to the trash.

You're better off just replacing the entire keyboard. Since the keyboard was 2nd hand it might have had a spill on it or hard use. I personally like a full size keyboard and now that can be had wireless (but not from Apple). The newest Apple wireless keyboard is also rechargeable - but expensive.
