I work out a lot bang my watch around a lot and wanted to see if there were any g-shock like bands/cases out there.

I googled around and only found the rugged cases.

The standard sport band is pretty rugged as is, but I assume that the most rugged bands won't have the fragile multipiece lugs. Casemate has a couple, Poetic is coming out with some, and so is Spigen. I like the spigen most, since it really matches their cases well. It's supposed to come out later this month for $25.

i LOVE my LuniTik band/case. I take care of my mother who is wheelchair bound and I am tearing down / building her wheelchair 5 to 10 times a day and I bump my watch against the walls, car and many things in between and NO damage. The look is polarizing BUT I love it as it reminds me of my G-Shock watches!

and my sport band stays in perfect condition as it has never used

i picked up mine at BestBuy!

And you haven't had any problems with the Digital Crown?? That's the biggest gripe about those cases

The Trick with the case is to tighten it up well when you use it!

MY Crown works great no goop in the crown as it covers it well and I use Apple Pay and the buttons work very well for me!

Isn't there a strap adapter that will let you use any strap?

Another new rugged case on the market... the Catalyst waterproof case. It's supposed to be built to milspec standards, totally dustproof, and built to IP68 submersion standards, and includes a nato strap.

There are several, including the click (which uses regular watch pins) and knockoffs of the Apple strap adapter, but if you are looking for the most rugged style of strap, you want one like the Sport Band, where the strap connects directly with the watch, so there's nothing to break. The Spigen and Poetic bands do that.

how long have you had it for now? do you ever take it off or is it your permanent watch case/strap?

42mm only according to their website :( already emailed them to complain and hopefully see if they have plans for a 38mm version

I have had it on since the end of May. I love it as I take my watch out from time to time to check on it and it is in perfect shape.

I am caregiving for my mother who is in need of a wheelchair and I am unfolding it taking it out of the trunk folding it back up about 10 times a day and I am smashing it into every corner and never a scratch!

And I can sell the watch when I do with a perfect sport blue band.

is it easy to take off/put on? i'm considering getting one, but more to mix the look up like i would swapping out any other band, than to put on and leave on for months.
