Stick man golf is probably the most fun, although I'm sure that's not what you are looking for.

I like golf games, but I love the ones that incorporate the reality of the game (ie Tiger Woods 2012).

Also there are a ton of Golf apps out in the store. I love hearing people's opinions on them.

Golf Channel app

Like to watch golf channel PGA tournaments on golf channel Thurs. and Friday. Is there an app for this where you don't have to sign in with your cable or satellite account? I am trying to cut the cord and use Chromecast.

GL Golf by Nuclear Nova Software is great. Although Nova Golf replaced it (and has better graphics and mechanics I think? I just have the original). Have seen the developers around here. Pretty straightforward and relaxing.

Golf Stars is another I like.

Golf Mobile is supposed to be good too, it requires internet access though.

You just have to be wary about all the IAP in them all.

I agree WGT mobile is the best. Right now you can play Pinehurst #2 before you watch it on TV next week. Plus they actually keep updates/leaderboard live on Golf Channel. The course graphics are amazing and its the ultimate golf sim game. It all syncs from the iphone to ipad so you can pick up in middle of your rounds.
