Currently, I’m keeping my passwords in my notes (dangerous I know).

When I get the X (after AT&T stops screwing with me), I’m planning on abandoning this note method and by storing my passwords more securely.

What’s the best app to store passwords? Which one are you more partial to? Are they usually free or require a couple bucks to buy?

I've been a long time user of SplashID. Been using it on iPhone and Android, Mac and Windows desktop versions as well to easily sync.

1Password... Don't store in the cloud though.... You can, but shouldn't.

I use the inbuilt iOS password and auto fill manager in Safari.
Works a treat across all my Apple devices.

I use the keychain to store all my passwords as well. But have heard good things about 1 password.

I dunno about this. Can convert your note to an encrypted note, just use a strong password. And accessible from iCloud (aka pseudo cross platform).

    That said, I'm using mSecure.

Security is really really hard. For something as important as your sensitive passwords, don't choose something random just for the price. I always recommend 1password and Lastpass (I use the former).

I have used 1Password for years, and really like it. It works very smoothly, works with Touch ID and Face ID and enters your username/password in the browser and in supported apps, so you don’t usually even have to copy/paste.

I have to remember one well-formulated password for it (only need it when you reboot the phone or it’s been too long), and let it generate passwords for other usernames. I’m in and out of the app multiple times per day, and it’s super convenient.

I’ve also heard good things about LastPass.

"SecureSafe" works well for me. I use a multitude (over 50) of different passwords using variations on several themes, so at my age I need a good repository for my passwords.

Enpass. Has a lot of functionality and runs on a lot of platforms. Plus you can use a server of your own to sync passwords.
Plus it is a one time buy, no subscription.

I’ve been using DataVault for years and hands down is the best one out there with syncing between devices and having it also backup
