I was just wondering how long it usually takes for those two companies to release iPad keyboard cases.

With the 10.5 Logitech released one right away but it didn’t seem to be very high quality. I upgraded to the iPad Pro 11 am am using the Folio Keyboard for now, but it’s pricey so hoping against hope that in the next 30 days those two companies might release something.

Thanks

I was thinking Winter, but people are saying it’s going to be in Fall.

Zagg take AGES to release their products in UK, even when the product is available in USA

I would think yes a year to wait

Logitech not so long, they had the keyboard case available last year when the 10.5 was released

They will be testing at present due to the position change of smart connector pins

I've been waiting for Zagg to release the new Flex keyboard / stand, it's been coming soon since October, even though it's available in the US. Have given up....

I just sent back the Apple Folio Keyboard for my 11”

Gave it a few days and just couldn't get used to the keys, I’m more of a push-down-mechanical-press kind of person

I was finding that I missed letters when typing on the Folio and it just didn’t feel right

I’ll wait for the Logitech...which I should have done to begin with

I am waiting as well for a better third party keyboard, I nearly an Apple one for my 12.9" but it is atrocious value for money, it should not be £199.

I was able to buy a iPad Pro 11 Apple Keyboard Folio off eBay for significantly less than what it costs at the Apple Store, so will use that for a while even though it's design is lacking in the quality I usually think of when it comes to Apple (my opinion by the way...no backlit keys and the cover on the back could be higher quality).

Brydge is releasing a keyboard in "2019", so eventually I might get that. In the meantime I'm still hoping for a great keyboard from Zagg, Logitech, or from someone on Amazon.

See, I don’t get the point of it. It just seems heavier and uses Bluetooth instead of a smart connector. The ASK folio is already perfectly stable.

It gives you the flexibility of using it like a laptop, which the ASK doesn't. That thing is tough to balance comfortably on your lap.

I like my Keyboard folio but the Brydge keyboard has a row of function keys and is backlit. That alone is a huge plus to me. Will I get it? Probably not. However, I did use the Logitech slim combo on my first gen 12.9. All for the function row and backlit keys.

Looks a great keyboard though really wish it had made use of the smart connector instead of Bluetooth. The only other knock I have is around build quality as they often are criticised on this front.
