Hi guys,
As the owner of macbook pro 13 2019 with faulty designed keyboard I've been keep asking question what I'm gonna do with my keyboard when it breaks down again and my warranty comes to the end? I know that answer might be one: 'deal with it yourself' but I think that approach is not fair towards customers of Apple.
Do you think guys they might replace old keyboards with new one from 2020 model?

Generally no. Apple had a repair program for 2011 MBPs and at the time they didn't give them a newer model

I don't expect Apple to give butterfly keyboard owners new laptops

Nope. You have 4 years for the keyboard (which is 3 years longer than the base warranty) which I think is very fair. After that you are on your own.

Yeah, you've got 4 years to enjoy your machine and then....

I understand how you feel. My 2012 MBP 15's dGPU decided to take a dump in 2017, 1 year after the free GPU repair program ended. Didn't matter anyway as the repaired logic boards would die anyway...

No.
Not gonna happen.

On the bright side, if your 2019 keyboard does fail at least Apple will replace it with no questions asked and a brand spanking new battery (trackpad too?).

Who needs Apple Care eh?

Hope for what? If you bought a 2019, you did so knowing that the keyboard was flawed. Apple even told you before you bought it that it might break, so they were giving you an extended warranty for the keyboard for an additional 3 years. The hope you had dissipated the minute you knowingly bought a flawed product. Sell it or trade it in. Or continue to enjoy it and if the keyboard does in fact break, replace it for free.

No. The new MacBook is a different size to accommodate the new keyboard in any case - it’s marginally thicker - so even if they were inclined to (they aren’t), they couldn’t.
