I seen thing currently listed on my Network on my MacBook Pro.

1. openthread.thread.home.arpa

And here are my Sharing Settings...

Any idea what this is? Just wondering if something weird is on my Network or if this is normal.

Thanks!

I googled for openthread.thread.home.arpa and found this, from 2021.

It appears to be related to the Thread home-automation protocol. There are many other search results, so it might be useful to do the search and see if anything looks plausible.

Your Mac might not be producing that name on the network. There could be some other networked device of yours that's producing it, and the Mac is just telling you about it. You didn't say whether you have any other networked devices, like HomePod or any home-automation devices, so that's just a guess.

those look like standard settings for sharing. Most are on my sharing screen (I'm on Sonoma some they aren't identical to yours). And the other is just thread (I'm guessing you have a thread device of some sort, AppleTV maybe?)

IIRC people in the Apple TV forum noticed Thread-related features on their networks. It seems it was related to updates to Apple TV and Homepod Mini devices. Perhaps you have one of those devices on your network?
