Any increase in speed in the Thunderbolt port of M1 iPadPro 12.9 under iPadOS16?

Hi, I recall some members mentioning that the actual speed is slower than the advertised 40Gb/s. Any speed improvement under iPadOS 16?

I don’t know if Apple is slowing it down on purpose hardware or software-wise. Anybody knows the cause of the slower speed?
