Any iOS 18 missing camera roll work arounds out there?

In iOS 18, how can one find what is in their camera roll?

Any ideas?

I have not been able to find the Camera Roll after updating to iOS 18. The Camera Roll used to be the one place where I could find the pictures and screenshots taken with the phone.

Without a Camera Roll, all photos (be they shared with others or synched from my Mac) are mixed together.

I never even knew there was such a thing as looking only at photos taken on the device directly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ perhaps because I never wanted it. But it does look like that's gone in iOS 18. This Discussions post has more info.

Thanks… I just submitted the request.

While I wait for the feature to return… I have tried some work arounds that all fall really short. So thought I’d ask out there if anyone might have a work around.
