We desperately need better Message tweaks, and sadly BiteSMS is gone, so all we have left is Auki and Messages by Ma Jun.

Any idea when either of these will be update to work on iOS 8 ?

The Dev of Auki said they're working on it actively but no ETA. I'm waiting for Auki as well... it was one of the reasons I dreaded updating to 8.

I'm so surprised that nobody has released anything yet. Did something change in iOS 8 to make it harder than before to create a QR/QC app or tweak?

Yeah I'm thinking it's the stock QR.

I'm back to using MessageHeads now that they've worked on the rotation & crashing issues. If you set it to close on "send", you get something closer to bite's quick reply setup, with a window showing the last few messages of the conversation. I've tied it to the same activator setup as bite too, so it's at least giving me some semblance of the utility we've lost.

It's not perfect, but it's better than stock.
