Bought an Incipio Underground sleeve from Amazon for $23 and it should be here today:

I have a Waterfield Slip Case from our iPad 1. As long as the SmartCover is on, the iPad 2's fit is acceptable. A bit loose, but pretty good. I wouldn't use it without the SmartCover, as it would be way too loose.

Waterfield is working on iPad 2 versions, one model with SmartCover, one without. It looks like they're planning on shipping those on March 28th. I ordered one in silver, which unfortunately is the one color where the material is backordered.

RadTech makes a nifty sleeve:

I have one that I had bought for the original iPad and today I discovered that the iPad 2 with the Smart Cover on will fit into this sleeve! Bingo! The RadTech sleeve is very thin and lightweight and rolls up or folds up easily when one needs to stash it somewhere. It's the same fabric as their keyboard protectors and monitor screen cloths. Great stuff -- works a treat for keeping the iPad screen clean!

Also, yes, the Waterfield Designs / SF Bags Muzetto Smart Case will work nicely for the new iPad 2 WITH the Smart Cover attached. I tried it just a few moments ago and was overjoyed to realize this.
Where did you see that it will fit with a smart cover? I looked but could not find it mentioned on there site. I do like Radtech sleeves though, have one for my MBP

My Incipio Underground just arrived. I love, love, love this sleeve, it's perfect. Very, very slim and it also looks very professional.

I have the RadTech sleeve that I had purchased and used on my original iPad; I experimented first with the iPad 2 without the Smart Cover and it fits a little loosely. Then I tried again, this time with the Smart Cover attached. It fits perfectly, but it does take a bit of wrestling to get the thing on-and-off.

TIMBUK2 has all of their sleeves and messengers on sale today for %15 if you type the word coupon GOLD in all caps. These bags have done a great job of protecting my laptop and work from water and abuse.

Looks great!

What is the inside made of? Same material as the outside?

Thanks for posting pictures!

If you want quality cases, you're going to have to wait a month or two. The companies need to catch up.

Had this for my iPad 1 with Apple Case and it fits the iPad 2 with Smart Cover just as well.

IMHO this is a great sleeve case. Has a handle on the end, a detachable strap, as side doc pouch and a small side zippered iPhone or Charger Cube & Cable pouch.

STM Jacket. Available from RadTech or at MicroCenter and other places online.

Comes in a few color options at the iPad size.

I have attached the strap for travel but otherwise just use the handle. Fits into a backpack nicely as an interior bag too. I really wanted something with a handle and minimal pouch if needed not just a straight sleeve. This was the closest thing to a sleeve but with the extra features. Very compact.

The outside is made of a soft felt-like material. The inside is made of what feels like very soft suede.

Seriously love the sleeve. The quality of the materials is amazing for the price.

Two questions..

1. Why would you want a slim sleeve?? One of the main purpose people buy a sleeve is to offer protection while they can slip the slip in their bags. The pouch needs to have enough cushon or some sort of padding like Neoprene to protect the screen from any sort of pressure.

2. Why would you want a sleeve that has extra space to add accessories. I see ppl keeping stylus, or iphones pens.. purses.. etc.. Wont that damage your screen even if simple pressure is applied.

I can answer your first question, based on my perspective. When I say that the sleeve is slim, it's not slim to the point of providing absolutely no protection. But case manufacturers, IMO, have a habit of making cases and sleeves needlessly bulky. I want something that is basically just going to keep my iPad from getting scratched when I place it in another bag. That being said, I have no doubt that if I were to drop my iPad in this sleeve from a moderate height, there would be little to no damage. I'm OK with that, because I just simply don't drop my electronics (knock on wood). I'm all kinds of OCD with my gadgets, so it's just not an issue for me--I'm mainly after just a little bit of padding and scratch protection.

Here's a cheap neoprene Kensington sleeve on Amazon.

I bought this for the iPad 1 but found it a bit tight, especially if you have the iPad in any type of case.

Because the iPad 2 is slightly smaller and much thinner, the sleeve fits much, much better. Fits great even with the smart cover on.

For $5, you can't really go wrong ;)

I got this one. It is very thin, but fits with my smart cover, and has a stiff side to provide a little extra protection on at least one side.

I just received the same case today and will be returning it. Not a fan of the stiff side

i got this one, and i'm currently looking for another. the snug fit feels ok, and it looks like it would do a decent job of protecting against scratches, but i question its ability to protect drops/falls/impact.

I really like your setup. Congrats and good job getting it all so quickly. I'm also going to be using a skin on the back, with a leather smart cover and a nice sleeve. May also get one of those folding stands you have too. Copying is the highest form of flattery right?

The skin I've chosen looks similar but it's from the DodoCase people, it's called a BookBack and made out of bookbinding cloth. Just hope it gets here soon.
