So all of you that planing on getting the SE as a secondary device (or keeping old phone around), admitting the Plus version is too big for your day to day activities ?
Instead of juggling between two phones i prefer having smaller phone for day to day use, a tablet\MBP when needed bigger screen, and iPod Nano only for sport activities…
So your really gonna swap your sim out every time you wear tight jeans or go on your bike? Seems like a crazy amount of effort. For me...6s Plus is mostly used in a toilet because of a large screen but I am thinking about installing the iPad Pro over there. At work I use 6s and sometimes outside of it. SE could be great while on bike or when I am wearing tight jeans.
Swapping SIMs in times like that is a pain. Why not either go phone-less when biking, just use the Apple Watch, or get a regular iPhone 6s that you can bring everywhere? For me...6s Plus is mostly used in a toilet because of a large screen but I am thinking about installing the iPad Pro over there. The amount of people talking about having a back up phone as if its so normal and necessary is amazing (as in, ridiculous). In my 10+ I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've needed a back up phone. I mean, how many times are you really going to lose or break your phone?

Unless you have multiple data plans for your multiple phones, wouldn't it just be a WiFi only device if you don't swap the SIM?He may have been joking, but I was rotating my GF's old phones to my "second" phone. My main phone is a 6S+, but my second phone was a 6S that I just replaced with a new SE. I was going to stick with the 5S but I wanted Apple Pay, but now the SE is has it. Swapping SIMs is unnecessary for me since my devices--iPhones, Macs, iPads--all ring on one number. iMessage handles all the texting except for the handful of my friends/family that don't use Apple devices, and even SMS from them works when I'm connected to WiFi.
So, I just pick up whichever phone I want to use. Unfortunately right now I have to pick the matching watch if I want notifications.
The iPhone SE is without doubt the perfect partner for the iPhone 6s Plus. I've ordered one for this precise reason. I also think the new iPhone 4" is a Spring/Summer device, ideal for accompanying me on runs and work outs due to its smaller form factor.
I have the 6S+ and the SE 64GB is mighty tempting as a secondary phone, except for the fact that the damn Whatsapp doesn't allow simultaneous operation on multiple iPhones sharing the same phone number. Apple, you know what to do about that.
On the price front it just doesn't make sense for me to buy a 32/64GB used 5S for ~50% of a new 64GB SE as I feel the SE is the one that is easily the best among all iPhones to retain their resale value while the SE hardware is so much more faster.
I have no desire to spend 500 dollars on a product that is only going to be used for secondary purposes. I guess 500 dollars is a lot for me, and so I need to have clear justification on its use before spending. I'll be selling my iPhone 6 plus to help offset the cost of the SE when the time comes.
Hi, I'm from Brazil and i bought the iPhone 6s Plus 128GB in january. But I have to confess that I'm seduced by the iPhone SE. I REALLY LOVE the design of iPhone 5/5s and I decided to buy the 6s Plus because it's bigger and the memory capacity (128GB). But just to be big it's so difficult to bear the phone in many places.. I'm thinking about buying the new iPhone SE as a secondary phone, as an iPod and for emergency calls at work or university. Anyone else will buy iPhone SE as a secondary device?
Sorry for my "poor" english.

I have a 6s+ also and am considering an SE as my main phone for portability and tethering the 6S+ as a media device when I'm at home or on a business trip. The combo seems perfect for my needs. I miss the pocketable size of the 5 and 5S. I do like the larger screen on the 6s+ but not all the time.
Yes, cave life has been a blessing. Has its own quirks, but i like it for the most partProbably a lot easier for someone who lives in a cave.![]()
Never understand why people keeping €900+ phones as a media device for the house, when you can have iPhone SE AND iPad Mini 4\air 2 for the same price...
