iPod touch Any iPod touch sightings in Germany?

Ipod Touch - Berlin

Well i ,just called the two premium sellers in Berlin, and bothe didn't had it. The one(machouse at "das Schloss") said that they expeced it to arrive last week... .

Thanks apple for you sence of time....

I got the invoice today and according to the serial number it's a week 39 model.:D

I can also track my iPod on the TNT site now. It's at Shuzou China and it's been there the whole day today. Hope it will start moving soon.
 
just a quick update on availability in germany:

cancom, berlin -> maybe in 3-4 weeks
amazon.de -> 2-4 weeks
mediamarkt, bremen -> maybe in 2 weeks

bought a 80gb classic instead and will wait for the 2g touch or iphone.

So it's all of Europe? Same here in Denmark, they seem to have messed something up. And in usual Apple-fashion they are telling nobody anything useful. God, I hate Apple way of doing business, I swear they are getting as bad as M$. Tried to create a new thread to track the EU delay, though no responses as of yet.

That's great! My touch is also a week 39. And it's in Shuzou, too, at the moment.
But on previous orders I found out that TNT tracking is not very accurate. The last time it still said that my package was in Amsterdam when I actually had recieved it a few days before.
 
well i would not buy the Ipod T at media markt or something like it,
I orderd one by gravis , but actually i am calling everysday the premium sellers to ask if it had arrived...
Calling twice a day...

Mine is still stuck at Suzhou.
Has anybody's moved from there?
Apple now says my estimated delivery date is Oct 11th :eek:
Guess we got caught in the Chinese holiday week.:mad:

Actually I'm confused with the terminology. If you track the package on TNT.com you get the English version, which you can compare with the ones already posted by various people on these forums.

Yeah, as I said before, I find TNT tracking not very accurate.

So let's hope the best.

It's about time that we get it. Apple has my money since 4 weeks or so. And also I'm prepared for my iPt. I have album art for every of my albums. I ripped DVDs. And I bought iPod socks (off of ebay of course, for 7Euro including shipping from Hong Kong, Apple's price is just ridiculous) to protect the back against scratches...

I ordered my iPod touch through Apple Store Germany too, but I never saw any TNT tracking information. Where can I find the tracking number etc?


Edit: Duh, it was in an e-mail Apple sent when the iPod shipped, couldn't see it in amongst all the German stuff...
 
Mine's sitting in China also for the last three days - waaahaaaaaa, why do these guys have three (!) bank holidays in a row, and nothing seems to move. The only good thing, their bank holiday is now over, and hopefully things start rolling (better: flying) again....

Ironically we have "fast shipping" and yet this doesn't look like coming till next week.
It's really unlucky that we got stuck in the Chinese holiday week. I think 4th, 5th all are holidays.
 
daily Update :D (just Berlin)

Well i called again today. and they had some progress going on.

Gravis Touch arrives probably beginning next week, the guy told me that it should be already arrvied on the 1st/2nd, but well... .

Machouse at "das Schloss (Steglitz)" have a demo Touch but non for sale, hope that they'll get it tomorrow or saturday(but this week).

and the orther Premius seller M&M:Trading hope to get it beginning next week.

well so at least there is some progress going on ...
 
I just called TNT Germany to find out why people from France whose iPods left China after mine have already had it delivered, but not me.

They said the package is now in Arnheim, Holland and it will be delivered tomorrow or latest by Monday.
But they don't know why the online status is not being updated.

Dijo, on the Shipment Status page of Apple, what does the Estimated Delivery Date entry say? Mine has been pushed back to the 11th of October, although my iPt should have left China at October 1st as yours did. Thanks, Matthias.

Same here. Estimated delivery: Oct 11
It was Oct 5 initially. Then got pushed back.

Last year when I preorderd my 2nd generation shuffle it took 2 days to get from Arnheim to me. So I guess the iPt will be delivered on monday. Too bad, that would mean the whole weekend without it...

you can see that in most cases it has reached Belgium 6-8 hours after it arrived at Arnhem.
Don't know whether that's the same route it will follow to Germany.
