Any issues with the 2018 15" MBP?

I'm considering buying a 15" MBP i7 2.6GHz, and was wondering if it's okay to buy this year's model. The reason I am asking is because I've watched so many YouTube videos showing the machine heating up a lot and causing throttling issues.

Is this a safe investment or would Apple likely release a significantly improved version next year?

A new version will more than likely come out next year but I have no issues with mine

If your current machine is not up to the job get a new machine, if it is up to the job then wait until it isn’t. Then buy whatever is the latest and greatest as needed.

Love the new keyboard. No problems with mine (the low end base model - still very very fast)
