I love the S4 44mm gold aluminum. I bought the stainless steel originally and returned it. It felt heavy to me, and I have never had a problem with the aluminum getting scratched, and I wear it all the time. I have small wrists, and love the bigger watch face.

i just ordered the new series 4 Apple Watch ⌚️ 44mm. I am wondering if there are a lot of women ordering the larger watch.

I had the 42mm series 3 watch and decided to get the series 4 for both the ekg and fall detection. I first ordered the smaller watch but returned it after trying it on and deciding it was too small. I've been wearing the 44mm and love it!

I got mine in, and I just don’t love it. It almost sticks off my arm on the top/bottom and I just don’t like the gaps between the band and my arm.

I’m returning it. :(

I just bought the 44mm, but it's still in the box because I was on the fence about the size. Tried both on at Apple and decided I will keep the 44mm. Now it's down to color. I have space gray. Any thoughts about this color and lack of available bands that are "fun" and not too manly? Thinking I should go with silver, but would love to hear any thoughts. :)

I have the 44mm SS Gold, and I LOVE it! So many options for bands that look awesome with it. I tried on the 40mm, but something just didn't feel right. I'm glad I got the 44mm, and I will never go back.

I know some ladies that have the Space Gray, and they love it. Myself, I always think (because I'm a weirdo like that!) that color looks better on guys. Before my gold, I have the 42mm silver aluminum and I loved it. But I say go with what you like, because it sucks to have a watch that you aren't really feeling. I liked that the silver was lighter and looked better with an array of bands and adapters. But that's just me! :)

I've had the watch for a while now. Mine is 44m in gold, with a gold Milanese band. I LOVE it! I ordered the smaller size originally and returned it because it felt too small. I really like the gold and have had people walk up to me and comment that they hadn't seen it before but really liked it! My last Apple Watch was silver with a silver Milanese band. Neither of the two watches looked 'manly' to me.

Just as an FYI you're not limited to buying bands that say 44mm. Bands for the 42mm Series 3 will fit (not sure about the others). I bought my mom a 44m S4 and she has bought several colorful bands from Amazon.

I don’t believe there is a such thing as a manly color. Get what you like!!! I started off with the 40mm space grey aluminum because I think it’s be best looking aluminum watch. The matte finish is gorg!!! All the bands I tried with it looked great. I only traded up for the 44mm gold stainless because the aluminum wasn’t heavy enough for my liking.

I definitely inherited my daddy’s manly wrist (Joking ?) BUT I did plenty of research on my own for years before deciding to get the Series 5. My mom gifted this watch months before she passed away. Maybe it was her way of giving me something special, but I will always cherish it. Even if stops working I’ll put it away just for memories.

You can definitely see that my choice for the 44mm works astoundingly well because my wrist is very wide. I can’t wear bracelets or most watches unless they are custom made. But the series 5 was a solid deal from day one, and I got a phenomenal deal through T-Mobile. Go with the 44mm if you want a bigger screen size and comfortable wear for larger wrist sizes. You won’t regret it!!!! Hope this helps. ?

I've had the 44mm since I got my first AW and I love it! I tried on both and the smaller one just looked too small on my wrist.

Yeah, I actually have pretty tiny wrists, especially for being tall, but I still have always liked the larger size. I just don't care what anyone else thinks about the size (and I also honestly don't think other people are really that preoccupied with/judgy about other people's smart watches). I have terrible vision, and I also like having the letters/numbers being a little bit bigger for typing or entering codes.

I’m so glad I found this thread. I bought both and couldn’t decide. The 40 looked too small but the 44 looks huge and I thought it would be too manly. Happy to know other girls have it as well. I was afraid it would stand out too much and look odd. But the 40 just seems too small. I guess I’ll return it and keep the 44.

Am another gal who wears the 44. It's great.

I originally bought the Series 6 40mm (pink)gold, but as I turn 60 this year and can't see anymore (Ha!) I returned it and got a Space Gray 44mm. Then I couldn't stand wearing a bumper on the watch, but at the same time didn't want scratches on the metal or the face --- so yesterday I returned <that> one and bought the Series 6 44mm titanium. I am in love! The size is perfect on my 6.25" wrist, and I no longer have to worry about scratches. Sigh. ?
