Just received a replacement for my Samsung display and got LG instead. It's a bit different, but I'm looking for a good ICC (color) profile.
I know that each display is different, but I had a good experience with ICCs for Samsung display, so why not trying.
I have LP154WT1-SJA2, which is the second LG revision, but I don't think that it matters in terms of calibration from the first revision.
Basically this is my 3rd display replacement since June 2012:
1st = LG + IR
2nd = Samsung + Dead pixels
3rd (now) = Samsung + White spot (probably a mura).
I also replaced once the entire logic board since my rMBP became a hot potato (100C when watching Youtube video = flash).
I guess I got a lemon.
