Carrier Any longterm suspension options for AT&T? (beyond 6mo)

I was wondering about avoiding canceling AT&T. I currently have it on a reduced-rate suspension while I'm out of the country, but my contract is up next month, I'm not back yet, and my reduced-rate suspension ends like next week.

You can only do a "RRS" every 12 months for up to 6 months, and I don't want to lose my rate plan by canceling. Is there a longterm suspension for out of contract people that don't want to lose their rate plan? Or do you think they could maybe make an exception and "RRS" it once more?

yeah but the rep was clueless. not sure if there's a secret option they'd have to ask about, etc.

anyone can call, was just wondering if anyone on here had any experience worth sharing
