I was wondering about avoiding canceling AT&T. I currently have it on a reduced-rate suspension while I'm out of the country, but my contract is up next month, I'm not back yet, and my reduced-rate suspension ends like next week.

You can only do a "RRS" every 12 months for up to 6 months, and I don't want to lose my rate plan by canceling. Is there a longterm suspension for out of contract people that don't want to lose their rate plan? Or do you think they could maybe make an exception and "RRS" it once more?

Did you call them to find out details and see what they can do for you?
Only they would be able to give you accurate info about your account.
