Any luck picking up from carrier on launch day?

Just wondering if anyone has been able to pick up an iPhone (any model) from their specific carrier on launch day?

Any model maybe. The exact model you want probably not. It really depends on which carrier and the location.

The morning they released the 6 I walked past a sprint store with no one inline. A T-Mobile store with 2 people inline. A AT&T store with about 50 people inline. And the Apple Store with a few hundred inline. No Verizon store near where I lived oddly enough.

Hoping to get one from t-mobile myself. Have to figure which local store to go to. Will hound them on the phone the day before about stock.
