I'm new to MAC. I have a lot of questions. I just don't have the time to surf the forums - as helpful as they are. So I'm wondering if there is a place to go - a users group meeting - or a new MAC user class locally in Atlanta? I'd like to bypass the genius bar if I can.

Or how do I go about finding a techie MAC person I can pay a flat fee to to help me w/ some things?

    Thoughts back?:)

If you new to the Mac then to to get the book Mac OS X Snow Leopard: The Missing Manual. I bet it will answer all your questions about OS X. It even has pretty pictures to help you along with corny humor. :D

Yes, you are. I can tell 'cause you haven't yet learned that it's a Mac, not a MAC. Did you try a search engine to look for a MUG (Mac User's Group, not a mug) in your area, or are you new to the internet as well?

Apple Store has free workshops and paid (but inexpensive) one on one lessons.
