Any Mac-using Eagle Scouts out there?

I had my board of review for my eagle the NIGHT before my 18th birthday. Talk about cutting it close...

I never did make it to Eagle, though I worked on an Eagle project for somebody else. I got my Star badge when I was fourteen, but changed churches and didn't find a new troop. It's one of the few things I regret in my life.

I'm almost Star now and i'm 15. But the stupid scoutmaster won't give me any leadership posistions so i cant get my 6 months.

I got my Eagle by finishing up citizenship in the community the week before I turned 18 back in 1994. For my project, I made a bunch of wooden Noah's Ark toys for the sunday school classes at the church where our troop held meetings. So many hours on the jigsaw!!

I would recommend offering to help the other leaders with their positions as much as possible. The scoutmaster will see how much leadership potential you have and put you in a position.

Something about actually having to try to earn badges and not just go on camping trips to go fishing and hang out with friends. 😕
