While everyone is whining about ridiculous things like icon colors and shapes, I was wondering if Apple has given us a much needed privacy update at all?

Right now I use jailbreak because I like the ability to lock individual folders or apps. Everyone knows that feeling of anxiety you get when a friend asks to borrow your phone for a second and they have pretty much all your information/messages/photos/notes/emails at the palms of their hands. Even if you don't really have anything to hide I find much relief in bring able to control what information can be accessed with a pass code lock and what could be accessed without. Who knows maybe I'm just a control freak?

So have there been at updates in this area?

Three security features:
- Activation lock
- iCloud keychain
- Apps now need permission to access the microphone.

You can also prevent editing & deleting photos. Huge when you hand the phone over to your 2 year old.
