Are they the generic retail disks or the install disks that came with your computer.

If its the first then you can sell them if its the second definitley keep them.

If they came with your mac then keep them. They will have the versions of iLife that came with your mac also so depending on the route you take in getting Leopard on your computer you could well needed them. These disks are very useful when it comes to selling your computer. You could sell them if you wanted but I strongly recommend keeping them.

Very close to the 26th IIRC when i preordered Tiger it can on the day.

huummm..........there is NO way you can GET it on the 26th when they wont be actually SHIPPING it out until the 26th............

unless of course you live right down the street from the duplication facility or the Apple store's warehouse :p

I can't speak for Apple's OS release/shipping policy but it is quite the norm for albums, books, movies and video games to get "pre-shipped" before the release date to arrive *on* the release date.

Like I said, someone with more Apple OS X pre-ordering should know better.

When I pre-ordered Leopard, it kept saying "Delivery on October 26th"

I'm pretty sure that means they're sending them out and then having the carriers hold them until Friday and then deliver them. A la Harry Potter for those who ordered the book from Amazon.
