Any new CPUs due around OS 10.5 time frame?

I'm wondering if there are any Intel desktop CPUs due around the 10.5 time frame (spring 07). Anyone know?

Right, but that's a mobile chipset, and won't be vastly different from the C2D Merom. We'll have quad-core desktop and workstation chips shortly though; however, Apple doesn't use any Intel desktop chips. They only use mobile (Mini, iMac, notebooks) and workstation (Mac Pro) chips.
