Must be a maintenance update. I don't notice anything different in features. I encountered a critical bug when I updated earlier this week: I had a streaming issue with an HD TV show from iTunes last night, had to plug in via Ethernet to get the show to load. That seems to be gone now.

EDIT: Yep. It's a point.point update. Likely bug fixes that needed to be pushed out.

suddenly my appletv be showed the itunes logo and the USB cable and i had to restore the thing, i wonder if it updated automatically and something went wrong, i thought you had to manually install updates on the apple tv though

Looks like a lot of users on 9to5mac.com are reporting their ATVS also bricking with this update. I'd be cautious about this one.

I was getting a bug with photo stream not updating properly. I wander if that's been addressed. That's if it was a widespread bug?

Supposed to fix an issue where some units had to be connected to iTunes to finish the update....but it's bricking them all over the place.

For now, update has been pulled.
