I'm within days of pulling the trigger on a 24" iMac. Am I going to hear in three weeks that there is a major breakthrougn in iMac technology.

Should I be waiting?

My father in law didn't buy a car for 10 years because he was constantly waiting for updates. Just pull the trigger.

Also, with the switch to Intel, changovers to a totally new platform will be easier to predict. So just bite the bullet.

They were updated less than 2 months ago, Sept 6, with the introduction of the 24" and Core2Duo.

So, they should not be updated before a few months.
