Any new Macs by Christmas?

Hi,
I worked out a deal with my dad and he said that he will buy me a macbook pro for xmas. Do you think the I should wait till after xmas for the Ivy Bridge refresh, or do you think they will release that b4 xmas?

Ivy Bridge will most likely be released in CES 2012 so an updated MBP with IB is not expected before Q1 2012.

Like the previous poster said no Ivy Bridge anytime before then. It's possible there will be a small spec bump before then but otherwise now is a good time to buy.
