Any new McDonalds success stories?

It's been great to hear all the successes people have had at McDonalds with ApplePay! But it seems like the number of posts about successes has decreased. Has anyone successfully bought McDonalds this weekend? If so, how was the experience?

Mine today was lousy. The small light on the pad that scans the RFID cards or iPhone 6/6+ was not lit and the terminal did not work. The clerk had absolutely no clue. I'm guessing the manager wouldn't either..

Haven't had a chance to use Apple Pay yet, so I bought some apple pies last night and it couldn't have been a smoother or quicker experience. Worked right away and seriously impressed me.

It didn't work for me at the drive through, so I complained by calling the phone number on my receipt, so now I have two gift certificates for Big Macs, due to "customer dissatisfaction" - I am satisfied with the response, and now it works fine in the drive through.

lol I used to be a manager at a McD and the terminal in the DT had the NFC disabled for some reason. I used to always try it with the customers cards but it was some security thing I guess. The front counter ones worked though. But our DT terminal was inside; I don't know about the places with that receiver on the outside of the building.

I would imagine paying for your food in McDonald's with Apple pay is a highlight as the food they sell in itself is about the lowest standard you can possibly buy 😛
