Apple are currently using the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600, but ATI have a better graphics chip on the market, the X1800.

Is there any new (or rumours) if Apple are planning on using these chips in the upcoming revision of the MacBook Pros?

No one knows. They might use X1800, but I find it more probable that they will use X1600 Pro or XT. No way X1900, but we'll find out. Me hopes for X1600 in next gen. MacBooks.😀

X1900!? I didn't even know about them? Are they out?

And why do you hope for a X1600 in next-gen, when the X1800 would be better?

He said he hopes for the X1800 in the MacBook in the next revision, not the MacBook Pro.

MB not likely to have anything but the next Intel integrated chip which will actually be very good.
