Why oh why would anyone want to put stickers on such a beautiful piece of hardware? Nooooo, don't do it!

It would make a lovely mac look like a nasty pc laptop with all those awful microsoft & intel stickers. I had to peel those stupid stickers off my old sony vaio and they left lighter marks underneath.

I've seen some cool artwork on the back done with decals... I wonder if this voids your warranty?

Hi,

Everyone's replies are great, and it looks like the consensus is not to put any stickers on the powerbook.

I recently sold my 17" and got myself a used and cheap titanium that is in great cosmetic condition minus a mark/scratch/blemish on the left side of the display cover that for some reason bugs me a lot. I would say it is probably the size of my pinky nail but narrower. So I was just wondering if any of you had ideas to conceal that, or if any of you did something creative or different regardless of if there is a scratch or mark.

I actually thought of maybe getting something like 3 chinese symbols to place vertically right over the mark. I would get vinyl decals maybe from an auto shop that wouldn't have those rectangular/oval backgrounds, just the lettering. Nothing big, small to tiny in fact.

Looking at the display cover, I think it would actually look nice. I think I'll try to play with photoshop for it, or if any of you who are good with photoshop have some ideas that would be great.

Thanks!!
