For those of you that Don't have the plus model do you regret not getting the plus?

No regrets at all, here. I got the 6 and then the 7, and had plenty of time to play with the Plus but it's just too big and the bezels are horrible. I've been waiting for a better screen but a smaller form factor, and the X brings both. Cannot wait to order that one.

I actually started with the 6 Plus but it was too big (kept dropping the darned thing) so ended up downsizing. Been quite content with 4.7" but after a hospital stint where the 5s was the only device I could comfortably use (couldn't move one arm due to IV), I'm actually considering going back to 4".

I do. Every time I hold a friend's Plus-sized iPhone, that's what I wish I had. I was waiting till this year's announcement to make a decision on the latest iteration of the Plus, but the price of the 256GB 8 Plus puts it across my $1000 phone+sales tax line in the sand.

I realize the Plus is too large for the one-handed use many prefer, but almost always use two hands on my 4.7" 6s anyway.

I'm seriously considering getting the 128GB 7 Plus and giving my 6s to my wife, who could not care less about tech but just wants something that works.

I wish I had a plus for the dual cameras. I bought a 6 because the 6+ just seemed too big. I've been wearing an Apple Watch for two years though, and I don't use my iPhone as frequently as I used to. It stays in my bag, backpack, or on my desk a lot, so having a larger one probably wouldn't bother me.

That said I will probably get the iPhone X. Bigger display than my 6, a better display than the iPhone 8, and you get dual cameras in a smaller iPhone.

I've owned an SE and an iPhone 6.

While I've never owned a Plus, my friend does and I've used it extensively. Honestly, I just found it awkward. It's huge and heavy and the keyboard is too big.

I work in an office setting and it doesn't fit well in dress pants, sitting down, etc. it's a mink tablet whereas the 4.7" form factor feels like a phone.

I can also use the iPhone 6 one handed - albeit with some manicuring - but the plus is almost useless for that. If I want that kind of experience I'll use my iPad. I want my phone to be agile.

The 4.7 iPhone was the perfect size when I did own it. I like the One handed use and it was comfortable to hold without being cumbersome. Although, I really grew fond of the 7+, it's my favorite device to this date.

But will it remain so after Sep 22 or next year (when you'll finally get an iphone X if ordering)

When I got the 6+ back in 2014, I admit I thought "wow, this is bigger than I thought" It took some getting used to..about a week I say, how it was in my pocket, holding it...thinking I might drop it. And the immediate stories that came out of "Bending" So I felt pretty careful after those stories ((I never had that problem). I just can't see going back to the smaller phones now.

Had the 6+. Switched to the 7 because I wanted the one-handed use. Started regretting it 10 months later. The 7 battery was not lasting long enough for me, and I was craving a larger screen. Just sold my 7 and bought a used 7+. Honestly wishing for an even larger screen now than the 7+. Looking forward to the X+ next year, even though I probably won't get one until this 7+ dies or becomes too slow.

Coming from a 6s I thought I'd give the X a try. Ended up canceling my order and got the 8+. I just couldn't get used to such a big phone. Ended up getting a 8 and I'm happy with my choice. The X might have been better size wise but I had other reasons I didn't want to go that route just yet. The 8 is all I need really, my needs are simple.
