Have any of you that owned an 11 Pro that also just purchased the 12 Pro ended returning it and going back to the 11 Pro? If so, Why?

i havent personally but have a friend who did because he didnt like the square sides. i told him that the design is here to stay for 3 yrs and he said he will wait until the next redesign lol

haha whenever that will be. I do prefer rounded edges too.

I returned my 12 Pro after having it only for 5 days. Nice phone, but I am going to wait for the Pro Max instead. Once you become accustomed to a large display, it's REALLY hard to give that up.

That said, now that I am back to using my 11 Pro Max, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. It does 99% of what the 12 Pro does just as quickly. All the apps work and look the same. I especially appreciate how much better the rounded edges feel in the hand, compared to the flat edges which make the slimmer 12 Pro somehow feel thicker than the 11 Pro Max.

The only reason I am getting the 12 Pro is because I'm on the AT&T Next plan and I'm only halfway through my 24-month installment plan. So whether I keep the 11 Pro Max or get the new 12 Pro Max, I'm still gonna be making payments for the next year. That's how I justify getting the new one at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for the input, thats what i figured. im going to keep my 11 Pro for another year, if the 12 Pro had the same camera as the 12 Pro max then maybe i might have gone through with it but we all know thats not the case and dumping 1k into a nearly identical phone seems stupid at this point

Yeah, you're not missing out on much tbh. Those that will see a significant improvement are those coming from an iPhone X or earlier. The biggest change this year is the design, which is totally forgotten once that case goes on the phone.

Just upgraded from my 11 pro to 12 pro. To be honest, after putting on a case average user will prob not notice any real difference for their daily usage. For me I was more interested in the small screen size bump. Interesting enough, I didn’t think I would notice it the small change, but for me it’s noticeable and perfect! Already sold my 11 pro so not possible to swap back.

for people like me, who put on a case, honestly I don’t think you’ll notice the difference and may not be worth the upgrade from 11 pro. 11 pro was plenty fast for me and camera was more then adequate for my usage. If I didn’t get a such a good deal for an upgrade I probably wouldn’t have upgraded.

now for people who use their phone naked, you will instantly notice the difference due to the design. Phone does feel slightly bigger, but not enough to feel like it’s too big like the Max.

Yes, the 12 pro 6.1" feels awkward in my hands and I no like the long shape compared to the 11 pro. may be the 6.7 will feel beter for me. but i am to purchase the mini but disappoint because hong kong mini no have dual physical sim 😡😡😡🔥🔥🔥 I like my 11 pro from hong kong the best phone for me now

I’m staying with the 12 Pro even though I agree with everything the OP said. I’m on the yearly upgrade program and this year the phone is a little cheaper. With that said, my 12 Pro works great and if I stay with the 11 Pro I’d have to get an AppleCare replacement. It’s slightly bent and the screen is cracked.

I went to a black 12 from SG 11 pro so not exactly the same but here you go for anyone thinking that way, sold my 11 pro next day for what i got the 12 for.

Big difference in weight.
Has better grip nice to hold not slippery on the back.
Bit bigger screen is noticable, like how its flatter not curved, all seems one piece when you move your hands around it.
No yellow screen on mine.
Buttons are flatter and nicer to use.
Battery seems great so far NO complaints here, and my 11 pro still had 100% battery, not using 5G yet.
Call quality is excellent and way better than my 11 pro, for me worth it alone as it's my business phone.
Speakers are louder and sound better.
Have only taken a few indoor photos and they were good.
Love the all black look glad i didn't get another pro.
