iPhone Any one finds the "parallax" effect useless as I do?

Crazy lag on what? The 4 doesn't support it, and the 4S runs it smooth on iOS 7... I didn't try iOS 8 because duh.

I can't compare it with iOS 7, but it's definitely a wee bit jittery on iOS 8.

The option isn't to disable parallax but to disable perspective zoom. With the latter disabled, the icons move the same amount but the wallpaper is not zoomed and moving in the opposite direction (which, when enabled, makes it looks like the icons move more than they do)

Still useless and not an improvement of the OS - but thanks for clearing that up

I like it. I just think its cool how it moves as I do...

My issue though, is that it doesn't really move with me. It's not Wilkie smooth, it often gets stuck, and it just feels off.

I thought it was just my slower 4S, but it's the same on the 6.

It's slightly jittery to me on my Air 2 and 5S. More importantly is I don't even notice it unless I look for it. I just realized I had turned it back on months ago after reading this thread.
