MR is the largest general Mac community. There are smaller sites, but most are specialized.

don't be insulted....but no, while i may find answers doing a search, my direct questions usually go unanswered or resolved with followups. maybe its my breath or b.o.
its getting frustrating

If you're not having luck here, you're probably not going to have more luck going to another forum with less membership. Looks like all or most of your recent threads contain useful information...

Yeah, like if you search for problems on google, most of the results point to a post on these forums.
You just have to give your threads some time, and bump them once in a while if you need to.

You can also try apples official forums

But I really think that the only place to ask questions is here if you want good responces. I have searched and never found one as good as mac/apple/pcrumors for answers. One time it took 3 months but I got a good one. (newbie bumped it) Another I posted a reply to a thread that nobody knew about (not possible posts) that I knew the answer to.

Just to be clear, since I brought up Google... I wasn't suggesting searching Google with a problem, but searching it for Mac Forums.
