IMO, we don't need anymore.

Hopefully words can convey your meaning, and not be reduced to (IMO) "iChattery".

Mainly because everytime I see the following, I want to kill a kitten with a spork.

Nope...the MR set is much better than the default vBulletin ones, yet small enough and simple enough so as to not be distracting.

I know what you mean, but they look a bit dated. At the other forum I am at it has a lot of nice ones, like an angel bumping it's halo, etc..

check them out, it doesn't require you to register:

try just going in to the post, you can see them
 
Maybe if they added the 'nana humper' one I'd be on board.

FWIW, that's phpBB, not vBulletin.
 
or in other words. That forum is made of crap buggy, security flaw ridden software, while this site uses the best forum software I have ever used. (Along with Neo Turkey but that is another story)

At least neither one is a site that has a bajillion smilies for every conceivable facial expression.
