Is there any other way to reset pram/nvram than startup hold of keys? My mac has firmware password, installed by IT, and to reset firmware - as far as I can say - one needs to remove the firmware password first. Inconvenient and requires less than helpful and fast IT help. I have admin password. Any suggestion?
I do not want to remove firmware, just reset pram/nvram on 2017 MBP.

Thanks

Thanks a lot,
this seems to generate error. I searched on line for error ("Error setting variable" for nvram) and someone stated, that nvram commands must be in recent OSX versions done while booted from recovery partition. I do not think I can boot to that either, seems like IT involvement will be needed.
