building up a pc as a secondary computer, wondering which graphic card works best with pro display xdr? most high end graphic card only has display port and hdmi ports , but no usb-c/thunderbolt ports which pro display xdr uses. I was thinking to use adapter but some online article says that might not work. Looking for the best ones.

any idea?

Thanks a lot!

Check e.g. this thread.

In a nutshell, you need a GPU that supports DisplayPort 1.4 and DSC to get full 6K resolution (AMD Radeon RX 5000 "Navi" series and newer or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1600 "Turing" series and newer). Some NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20x0 series cards or the AMD Radeon Pro W5700 not only support that but also have a USB-C output.

If the GPU does not have a USB-C output you need e.g. Moshi's bidirectional DisplayPort to USB-C cable.
