Hello folks,

I'm searching for some powerpc homebrew software which I can use to make beer recipes etc. Is there any usable software that you know it?

:)

I would imagine that there are numerous online tools that would accomplish that through TenFourFox or a TenFourFoxBox. Being under 21, that sort of software does not apply to me but I figured I would chime in and try to help as best I can.

I do a lot of home brewing but have a binder that I use for my process & notes. I did however find two PPC compatible homebrew software packages.

1. BeerSmith - $25.00 http://www.beeralchemyapp.com/beeralchemy.shtml
2. Brewmeister $15.00 https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/6263/beermeister

After looking at them, I am impressed with BeerSmith. It looks pretty fantastic. It's try before you buy which is nice. It also looks like there is a tablet iOS version as well which I think is pretty cool.

There were some others I found but they require intel 10.6 or later. Good luck.

Thanks a lot, but first one is beeralchemy for ppc not beersmith. I know for beersmith 1.4 ppc but i really can't find any file. Even the same is for beertools 1.5 which i can't download.

Brew tools are very useful for me because I have control all over my process.

lol oops. I meant Beer Alchemy, not Beer Smith. Sorry about that! BA app looks pretty amazing with all of its functionality. I also like the gravity calculator functions etc. Makes it easy and the fact that there is an iOS version pretty much sold me on that one. Very Cool software suite if you're into brewing.

But Beer Alchemy 1.x needs Mac OS X 10.6 and up, and Beer Alchemy 2 needs OS X 10.9 and up, so it's not PowerPC compatible and thus doesn't help out OP.
