Like many, I will be preordering the Apple Watch on April 10. Stock seems to be limited, so I want to get it quick. I know I am getting the 38mm Sport in Blue, I don't know if that is a popular option. If orders open at midnight, it will be 8:00 am in the UK, so I'll be ready. I heard that the Apple Store App is best to use, is this right? Any other tips?

Yes it is... what other "tips" do you think you need?

When to refresh, if I should be refreshing constantly, what time etc. Anything anyone one knows that would make it easier

LoL.... well just to be safe maybe start refreshing an hour before hand and do it every 10 seconds or so.... OR just chill and hit it up right at blast off time. Either way you'll get your watch.

I really do not think it will sell out online. Use the apple store app to preorder, but outside of these forums the interest is nowhere near as high as it appears here.

Thanks! Just a bit worried that's all

I know I know, but we don't know what time they go on preorder and they might go early. As I said, I'm just a bit worried. I hope to get it on the 24th, but as long as I have an order placed its ok.

Don't think the 38mm blue sport will be popular, as it's small even for people with small wrists.

42mm blue sport will likely be popular.

typically midnight pacific is when the preorders go live.

Yes but in my experience with past iPhone and iPad preorders, the site usually doesn't work until about 1AM Pacific. As with the iPhone, they don't typically sold out of any models until about 10AM Pacific so if you're in the east coast, there's really no point in getting up earlier than you would to go to work.

What makes you think stock will be limited. There's been no confirmation one way or the other. It may well be but we don't know that and won't until April 10th.

So these pre-orders start on the right as soon as the clock ticks 12:00 AM PST April 10th, right? So it will be the night of April 9th?

For pre-order tips, I suggest liKe others to use the Apple Store app.

What advantage(s) do you think there are to pre ordering with the Apple Store app as opposed to pre ordering it online at the Apple Store?

I think it uses a private API. There is a thread.

Just from loads of rumours.

I'll be getting the Silver SS Blue Leather Loop so I doubt that one will be very high demand for the midnight pre-order. Black Sport on the other hand...

This is what I'll be doing on April 10th, I am also getting 38mm blue AW Sport

1. Staying up for all 24 hours on April 10th (Just in case)
2. Apple Store up on my PC & Mac
3. Apple Store App up on my iPhone & iPad
4. CC info saved to account
5. Express checkout enabled
6. Watch I want added to favourites
7. Eating & Drinking

If you get your preorder in within the first hour, I think you should be fine.

Sounds good. Did you leave out "No Doze" or 5 hour Energy?
